Surplus liquid drains safely back into reservoir. The perforated pan screen serves as a flame arrester. Top rims have molded edge protectors for smooth, trouble-free moistening. Steel cans are finished in a tough, chemical resistant powder paint and are backed by an industry exclusive Ten-Year Limited Warranty.

With high buoyancy to weight ratio this containment boomhas a good response to wave action makingit useful in inland or sheltered water such as within a harbour. The range has excellent UV resistance and chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and hydrocarbons. We can manufacture different sizes and material types (PU and Neoprene).

Lightweight and easy to use this containment boom isideal for deploying from a reel and take up very little space when stored or when being transported to a new location. Fence booms are not recommended for towing or sweeping at sea.

Suitable for long-term deployment this containment boom isrobust and hard wearing with floatation provided by rigid foam filled floats bolted to the skirt which is naturally rigid helping it stay upright in the water. Ballast is provided by metal chain attached to the bottom edge.
