Fast reliable method for visually inspecting and spot-checking surfaces of welds, exotic alloys or standard metals, highly stressed structural members, critical castings, shafts, gears, spindles, and any other hard part where identification of surface flaws is essential. 

Detects flaws such as cracks, pin holes, welding laps and porousness either during manufacture or on site. A three part system. SFD-501C is a cleaner. SFD-502C is a dye penetrant.  SFD-503C is a developing fluid that reacts with the dye in SFD-502C to show small cracks in the weld. Each part supplied in an ozone friendly 500ml aerosol.

A specially formulated, high performance, white fluid, designed specifically to identify even the smallest gaseous leak. Applies a thin uniform film of surface active agents which accurately identify any leak or bleeding of joints, bubbles in the applied film indicate the location of the leak. Aerosol enables fast and easy application. Convenient and accurate in difficult to reach areas. No wastage or spillage. Propelled by compressed air - will not give a false reading if mechanical sensing equipment is used. Long shelf life, unlike other CO2 propelled leak detector sprays, the pressure will not not drop off due to CO2 degradation during storage. Suitable for use with most common industrial gases including compressed air, acetylene, butane, propane, chlorine, hydrogen, and natural gas. Not recommended for use on medical equipment where there could be a risk of ingress into the patient airway. Supplied in a 400ml aerosol.

SL1-400A Leak Detector Spray Compressed Air 400ML

White film to highlight any faults which have been detected when using Flaw Detector Penetrant. The product should be removed using Flaw Detector Cleaner Spray once cracks have been found and marked.
