Featuring a tyre tread depth gauge, this brake disc caliper gauge has a compact and lightweight set of vernier calipers making them ideal for use as part of a vehicle safety check or inspection. A accurate measurement can be taken from the braking surface using the jaws that have been designed to fit over any wear lip, or corroded edge, running around the outside of the disc. The reading can be retained when removing the calipers from the brake disc because of it's jaw release mechanism (when used with the clamping screw).
