Castrol Optigear BM 320 is a solid-free high performance gear oils for long-term or life-term lubrication.

Alphasyn™ EP Gear Oils are based on sulphur/phosphorus Extreme Pressure (EP) additive technology and on poly-alphaolefin (PAO) fluids. These high quality synthetic lubricants provide high corrosion protection for gears.

• Full EP performance protects the gears against micro-pitting, wear and shock loading
• Oxidative and thermal stability is good, offering extended operating life and reliable operation when compared to mineral oil based products
• Inherently high VI makes the oil suitable for operations over a wide range of temperatures

Based upon highly refined mineral oil, enhanced with sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure additive technology providing outstanding thermal stability and high load carrying capacity. Recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. They may be used for the lubrication of spur and helical gears and in some lightly loaded worm type gear applications. Excellent viscosity characteristics ensure that starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions. The additives are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units. Fully compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluropolymer seal materials. DIN Classification is CLP.

Alphasyn™ PG Gear Oils are a range of synthetic lubricants based on polyalkyleneglycol (PAG). The intended primary use for these gear oils is worm reduction in gear boxes.
