THESE TORCES ARE FANTASTIC,THEY USE 2AA BATTERIES AND HAVE A RUN TIME OF AROUND THREE HOURS BUT I'VE FOUND IF I USE RECHARGEABLES THEN THIS ALMOST DOUBLES THE RUN TIIME,HOWEVER IT THEN LOOSES IT'S ATEC RATING.THERE ARE 3 SETTINGS AND THEY ARE TRUELY WATERPROOF.!!!!!
