The Yale 401 traditional rim locks provide basic security and should only be used where a high level of security is not required. Rim locks are ideal for internal doors or gates and outbuildings. The Yale 1109 series replacement rim cylinders are for use with surface mounted locks, such as nightlatches, operating from a tailbar. They are used to provide key access from one side of a door and are suitable for doors 38mm to 57mm in thickness.  The tailbar can be cut to suit the thickness of the door.

These Yale P405 Rim knobs 43mm handles and bar are for use with the Yale 334, 401 and 402 style rim locks.  Rim locks are not for high security and should not be used in this manner, they are ideal to use on sheds or internal doors where there is an external door with high security locks fitted. Rimknobs are covered by a 2 Year Guarantee and have a Standard Security Rating.
