The WEG CFW series is intended for speed control of three-phase induction motors.

CFW-08
Easy to install and operate. Equipped with optimised software that can be easily set through a keypad, which enables the drive to process and control industrial machines. In addition, the CFW08 Plus series was designed with dead time compensation techniques, which avoids motor instability and provides torque increase at low speeds.

IP20 and IP66 enclosure with V/Hz and sensorless vector control.

150% current overload capacity (during 60s every 10min).
2.5/5/10/15kHz adjustable IGBT's switching frequency.
Protective Features: overcurrent, motor overload, drive over temperature, output phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short circuit, DC bus over and undervoltage and external fault.

The Vectrue Technology™ represents a significant advancement, allowing this new generation of WEG inverters to combine V/F, Sensorless Vector and Closed Loop Vector (with encoder) control techniques, all in one product. An innovation was also introduced to simplify applications that require braking torque. A new feature named Optimal Braking™ eliminates the need for the dynamic braking resistor in some applications allowing a simpler, more compact and economical solution.

CFW500/CFW700
Human-machine interface (HMI) with backlit display and soft keys facilitates variable speed drive programming and operation
DC link inductors enable compliance with IEC61000-3-12 standard requirements regarding harmonics (no need for external line reactance). Intelligent thermal management permits full protection of IGBTs, monitoring of heatsink and internal air temperature. 
Automatic control of the heatsink fan, with speed sensor and easily detachable from the product for cleaning and maintenance. 
Normal duty and heavy duty ratings to adapt optimally to all kinds of load. Protection with fault and alarm warnings. With built-in dynamic brake chopper, RS485 - Modbus/RTU Communications and encoder input as standard.
Plug and Play philosophy allows quick and easy installation.
Motor overload protection in compliance with IEC 60947-4-2/UL 508 C.
