Available in two types: glass fibre for protection up to 600°C and silicate fibre for protection up to 1200°C.

Silicate-fabrics have excellent characteristics in relation to handling and resistance to high temperature loads of 1150ºC . Therefore this fabric is suitable for use as welding blanket even under extreme conditions. For the heat resistant fabric high quality silica fibres are used, which are environmentally non-hazardous. This blanket is treated with a mineral based finish to improve its abrasive resistance and the resistance to fraying
