Dycon D2433 switched-mode power supply providing up to 3 Ampere and complies with and certified to EN54-4 and the Construction Product Regulations (CPR) They feature on-demand load sharing to provide exceptional flexibility, allowing rapid, large-capacity, battery charging with either extended, standby, hold-up duration at light loads, or short, high current, peak loads where the spare capacity is diverted to battery charging. All units are fitted with a constant–operation temperature sensor which automatically adjusts the charging rate to ensure that a battery is never overcharged simply because the ambient temperature has risen. Rather than relying on simple, voltage readings to gauge the battery condition, these units constantly check the batteries’ impedance which gives a more accurate reading and prior warning of impending problems and extending battery life. This EN54-4 24 (27.6) VDC 3 Amp PSU has space for 2 x 7 Ahr batteries. Supplied with T1 spade connector battery cables. The unit has 3 opto relay fault outputs, 2 x 24 VDC electronically fused outputs and 2 control inputs to switch the outputs. This listing is for the smaller housing within the image.

The Dycon D1532-P is a 12V 2A power supply unit for use with EN50131/PD6662 security grade 1, 2, 2X & 3 intrusion systems with 1.3 Amp battery charging. It has smart dynamic battery charging and monitoring, with 1 x 12 volt output electronically fused. The D1532-P has battery impendence testing along with 3 fault outputs and 3 status LED's.

This units is supplied unboxed as a PCB only. Includes battery lead with T1 spade connector.

The Dycon D2401-A is a 24Vdc switched-mode 1A power supply ideally suited for powering magnetic fire alarm door retainers, access control applications and general 24VDC power applications which do not need battery backup. This unit is designed for highly inductive loads such as magnetic door retainers and releases, eliminating the need for additional control relays and reducing the chance of an ‘electrical spike’ causing problems, which is a frequent cause of personnel delays and expensive engineer call outs. These units, additionally, have a normally closed (NC) volt-free opto-relay outputforremotely signalling the status and serviceability of units. This output can be used to indicate problems either locally or remotely to a Fire Alarm panel or to a suitable signalling device. All units are protected by Dycon’s intelligent electronic fuse technology with automatic reset to reduce system downtime. They all feature Dycon’s unique protective technology, includes intelligent and capacitive load switching, surge protection and snubbing.

The Dycon D1532-B is a 12V 2A power supply unit for use with EN50131/PD6662 security grade 1, 2, 2X & 3 intrusion systems.

The Dycon D1532-B features Dycon’s unique, advanced, power technology utilises the latest on-demand battery charging and dynamic load output current sharing (DLS) to ensure that the system’s battery is never over-stressed, thus prolonging its life and its ability to respond when needed. Additional battery health impedance checks, battery presence detection, deep discharge battery protection, and battery over-voltage shutdown protection all go to ensure that a system always functions at an optimum level. The unit is ideal for demanding applications such as access control and Building Management Systems, IoT devices, and communicators. It also meets the requirements of EN50131/PD6662 Grade 3 for intruder alarm systems and can also be used in Grade1, 2, and 2X systems where additional power is required to drive peripheral devices such as large sirens, external detectors, access control systems, and door releases. This unit has 3 x opto-relay output, front and back tamper and a control input for 12V input.

This Dycon output splitter enables a single power supply unit to drive several different devices at the same time. This takes the DC power output from any Dycon, or most other make, 12VDC or 24VDC power supply and distribute it into four protected outputs to drive peripheral systems components. The DFXS4-0P, a four-output splitter is protected by self-resetting, electronic fuses, each with a maximum rated output of 1.5A. These units have green LEDs to indicated when an output is powering normally.

This useful splitter has 8 outputs each protected by an individual glass fuse, which are included with each unit. Suitable for 12 and 24 VDC. They feature individual, surface-mount red LEDs showing whenever a particular fuse has blown. Outputs can also be wired together to create a higher rated output provided the fuse is uprated to match, for instance 2 x outputs could be linked together provide a 2A single output, providing a 2A fuse is fitted to both outputs. This is for 8 x 1A fuses.
